CRA wins six at the Virginia Public Relations Awards
The Virginia Public Relations Awards honor the best PR work from around the Commonwealth. These prestigious awards recognize the most innovative and influential public relations campaigns of the year, and, illustrate the breadth of talent in Virginia’s public relations community.
CRA received six awards at the Virginia Public Relations Awards dinner, hosted by PRSA Richmond, June 3 at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
The awards included the following:
- Bronze Certificate of Merit for the Appalachian Power “Watt, Why & How” website landing page
- Bronze Certificate of Merit for the Appalachian Power “Watt, Why & How” multimedia presentation
- Bronze Certificate of Merit for the Affinion Loyalty Group media kit
- Bronze Medallion for the Virginians for Better Transportation letters to the editor campaign
- Silver Certificate of Merit for the Appalachian Power “Watt, Why & How” integrated campaign
- Silver Certificate of Merit for the Affinion Loyalty Group community yard sale
Alissa M. Poole, president of PRSA Richmond, said the group received about 90 entries, which were judged by the New Orleans PRSA chapter. She said the awards "celebrated the work of talented PR professionals and recognized the importance of public relations as a tool across disciplines."
