Sales hot in the summertime


West Virginia Lottery’s Hot Lotto® sales are on fire. The CRA team launched an aggressive educational awareness effort that includes a 15-second jackpot alert spot to inform audiences about how to play the game, the odds of winning and its large jackpots. In addition, the campaign also included a 30-second awareness spot using humor designed to resonate with audiences and reinforce the messages in the 15-second spot.
 
While Hot Lotto is played like POWERBALL® and offers significant jackpots, players have better odds of winning. In June, year-to-date sales totaled $4,881,127 (up 21 percent from last fiscal year). View campaign materials and other work for the WV Lottery.
