School is in session

CRA has partnered with Watts Elementary School in Charleston, WV on a variety of assignments in and out of the classroom as a way to give back to the community where CRA is headquartered.
A big hit has been our “Student of the Month” lunches. Each month, teachers select students to represent their classes based on a variety of criteria, including having a good attitude, being especially helpful, improving grades and those who have worked hard and need a little pick-up. Students and teachers come to the CRA office for lunch, learning and laughs.
Most recently, CRA took to the phones calling upon clients and colleagues to bring more than 40 men to the 100-Man Lunch – an annual event where Watts invites men from the community to sit and eat with students at lunchtime, many of whom don’t have male role models in their lives. In years past, the most Watts recruited to the lunch was 77 men. This year, the school beat its record and had 101 attendees.
CRA is also in its second week of "No Shave November" where all funds pledged during the month of November will be used to buy winter coats for those Watts students in need.
