Promoting social capital
Modeled on the theory of social capital, LEAD VIRGINIA is a nonprofit and non-partisan organization that educates proven leaders about regional differences, opportunities and challenges across the commonwealth. Caryn Foster Durham, class of 2008, was recently selected as the program’s Central Virginia Alumni Chair.
Caryn’s responsibilities will include maintaining communications and relationships with classmates and prior program graduates and to recruit prospective LEAD VIRGINIA candidates. Durham also serves on the Communications
Committee for the program and was a co-chair for the 2009 Richmond curriculum.
